The Keynote theatre is a two day programme which will cover the UK's progress in meeting its renewable energy targets, give an overview of the legislative landscape and cover key topics such as Sustainability and Feedstock sources. Future energy via Fuel Cells and the part Shale gas will play will also be covered. This programme also covers a controversial session looking at the cost of renewables and will address the growing public perception that renewables are expensive and unnecessary.
nextgen is a showcase for new and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector including: Algae as a fuel source, Advanced Fuel cells, Heat recovery, new developments in Wind and Hydro, Deep geothermal and Gassification. Dragons Den style sessions will have a series of new technology ideas presented to a panel of experts for peer review, with financing, intellectual property protection and sessions on how to grow your business also covered.
microgen covers all aspects of the growing Microgeneration sector. Presentations on the current and expected growth in the UK's PV sector, the expected uptake of renewables in buildings and new and emerging technology are covered in this busy two day conference. Microgen will also cover planning issues, MCS accreditation and the role REAL plays in the sector, how to fund projects, ESCO's and all the legislation drivers such as Feed-in Tariffs and the RHI.
The Biomass and Fuel from Waste Theatre will look at the expected growth in renewable heat from Biomass due to the new RHI incentive. Specific case studies showing where Biomass is installed and the lessons learned will be covered, together with challenges such as the UK's biomass supply chains, fuel sources and public perceptions will also be addressed. Fuel from waste will also be covered, detailing new technology as well as real world applications.
The Biogas Theatre has a very full two day programme covering all aspects of this growing sector. Case studies showcasing on-Farm, Food waste, wet effluent water and energy crop installations will help developers understand the lessons learned when financing, building, commissioning and running Biogas plants. New and emerging technology, funding, feedstocks, digestates, electric and gas grid connections and CHP issues are all key topic areas covered.
The MCS Live theatre will cover all aspects of the MCS. A legislative update and technology overview will also be part of MCS Live. A separate breakout theatre will cover becoming an MCS accredited installer, getting products MCS approved as well as giving updates to all MCS registered companies and individuals.
